There's no better time to take the run to Peggy's Cove, enjoy the coastal breezes and all that the area has to offer! This year's event runs from July 10- 20 with many intriguing events:

"Blame it on the Bossa Nova Scotia"- you'll have a great time at the Opening Night at Shining Waters Marina in Tantallon on July 10th. A $20 ticket gets you in, and lots of fun awaits.

With great music in the background, you'll find a community art project, food, wine and a cool silent auction of fine art and craft   A photo booth has been added, so get ready to say “cheese”! Relax with your refreshments on the expansive deck overlooking a St. Margaret's Bay sunset, just before placing your winning bid!

“Fall in Love with a Painting” -Last year, CBC Halifax's website named this the “top thing to do” on a July weekend – so you can't miss the ever-popular Paint Peggy's Cove on the 12th and 13th where arge group of artists from several provinces will be busy at their easels with brushes, acrylics, watercolours and inspiration from what they see in the village, and on the rocks. See Peggy's Cove through an artist's eyes – we have a world-renowned icon in our midst with a unique atmosphere that draws visitors from around the world! Fall in love - with a painting!

Charlie A'Court brings some “blues” to the area on July 18th with a smokin' Summer Concert at St. Luke's United Church in Upper Tantallon.  There is a sharp 8 pm start with the Tantallon Primos kicking it off! Advance tickets at Redmond's Hardware, The Finer Diner and online. Hop in the car and be there in 15 -20 minutes from the city or Bedford. Charlie A'Court

July 19th and 20st, take your Studio Tour Guide, complete with map and restaurant listings, and enjoy the Studio Tour. You'll enjoy lots of gorgeous coastline between Hatchett Lake and Blandford. Watch for sandwich board and wayfinding signs with the distinctive lighthouse logo to find studios, galleries and temporary group shows. Use the map year round to shop for art at the permanent locations! The Google map shows art and eatery locations – plan to spend a day or two! You can find the map in this dedicated section of the website

"Let's Play Fish"– an artful fish project – has been an ongoing project for adults and youth, promoting local artists, businesses and the festival all spring. The fish are now hosted at supportive businesses all over the area from Hackett's Cove to Head of St. Margaret's Bay. Take a few minutes to go “fishing”!
