Did you know that one of the deadliest sharp shooters in comic books today was born in Newfoundland?

ARROW - Michael Rowe as Deadshot PROMOFact - actor Michael Rowe, who hails from St. John’s NL currently portrays Deadshot/ Floyd Lawton on the CW/CTV series ARROW.

The Vancouver based production, currently in its second season, is based on the Green Arrow comic book character. One of Green Arrow’s long-time adversaries is the notorious Deadshot --- an assassin-for-hire known for his infamous sharpshooting abilities.

Rowe has already made four appearances as Deadshot on the series and fans of the show (aka ‘Arrowheads’) have been fervently anticipating his next appearance.

In Ep. 216 ‘Suicide Squad’ (based on another famous comic book series) slated to air March 19th, we'll see the culmination of many months of plot twists and the truth of Deadshot's character finally revealed, as he takes his place among other killers-for-hire to battle against Arrow and his comrades.

Where things will go from there in this 23 episode sophomore season remains to be seen - but rest assured they're be plenty of action and then some. JS


ARROW the series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, after five years of being stranded on a hostile island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.(source)
