I love getting mail and I love REPUBLIC OF DOYLE - so imagine the joy in receiving a POSTcard from himself. The best!

THE BOOK OF NEGROES will begin filming in Nova Scotia this springAllan Hawco sent me this picture and note from the South African set of his forthcoming CBC mini-series THE BOOK OF NEGROES. What a view!

These are busy days for the Bell Island star - in addition to this role, he'll be returning to his old stompin' ground - The Company Theatre in Toronto, for a turn in Amy Herzog's raw drama "BELLEVILLE". SEA AND BE SCENE TV will be stopping by rehearsals on our upcoming ROAD TRIP 2014 show so stay tuned for that.

We're also standing by for news on REPUBLIC OF DOYLE's sixth season.  No official word yet.... but after that unbelievable season 5 finale - there's no way they'd end it all there....right?!  We've got our cliff hanging fingers crossed.

In the meantime we issue our sincere thanks to Mr.Hawco for taking the time to drop a line.  We'll look forward to seeing you back in the homeland before too long sir! SABS
