Where’s your favourite place in New Brunswick to grab a coffee?

Has to be a chai tea latte or fresh espresso from Cedar Tree Cafe.

Where’s your favourite place in New Brunswick to grab a pint?

Picaroons Brewtique for an Irish Red

Where’s your favourite place to shop in New Brunswick?

Art, Earth and Stone for beautiful jewelry and stones. Envy for something special to wear. Westminster books for a great read.

What's the one meal you miss the most when you're away?

East Coast Canadian food is the thing I miss most living in the States. The seafood is beyond compare, especially fresh lobster or my Nanny’s Croquille St Jacques. When I am home I always stop into the Lunar Rogue for their to die for Nacho’s. The Maple Curry Chicken Penne at Brewbaker’s never disappoints. I also never miss the Boyce Farmer’s Market for fresh orange juice, salmon and samosas.

Where in New Brunswick would we stand to see your favourite view?

My parent’s kitchen in Keswick Ridge, overlooking the Ridge, the river, the apple orchard. It’s my happiest and most beautiful place on earth.

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit New Brunswick:

St.Andrew's By the Sea photo by Tim Ostrem1. See some theatre!! I have performed on stages across the US and Canada and the talent in NB always blows me away. Theatre New Brunswick mounts incredible shows year after year.

2. Take in the incredible scenery. Experience one of our stunning golf courses, spend some time on the water, go visit St. Andrews by the Sea, whale watch, hike, bike, explore! Our land is one of a kind.

3. Spend a night downtown. Take in some music from our incredible musicians, sit on a patio with a glass of wine, enjoy an evening walk along the river. And of course top it off with having a Monkey Cakes cupcake!

What makes New Brunswick such a special place on earth for you?

All of what I have mentioned above makes NB so special for me, but first and foremost it’s the people. Kind, warm, supportive, and genuine. In all my travels I have yet to see a community of such integrity and friendliness. New Brunswicker’s are hard working, lovers of life and family and know how to have a great time. I am proud to be one and relish every trip home.
