Steve Lund – No Place Like Home in Nova Scotia

Occupation: Actor. Bluenoser.

Place of Birth: Dartmouth, NS

Currently Resides: Toronto, ON

Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a coffee?

From my mom's hands on a hazy sunday morning.

Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a pint?

Shore Club.

Where’s your favourite place to shop in Nova Scotia?

What's the one meal you miss the most when you're away?

Lobster Eggs Benedict.

Where in Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?

From the diving board of the lido at the Waegwoltic Club.

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Nova Scotia:

1. See "The Melotones" at the Seahorse. Warning: may cause uncontainable grooviness.

2. Attend Chester Race Week. Check your shame at the door.

3. "3 Pools" outside Annapolis Valley. Ask the locals for directions.

What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?

There's truly no place like home. It is, after all, where the heart is. Often the liver as well... I'm very proud of where I come from. Nova Scotians have an undying need to preserve a sense of cultural community and that identity makes us a strong people. No matter where I am in the world, knowing that I always have it to come back to, allows me to feel a comforting and invigorating pride. As a product of the humble teachings of my homeland, I've always felt that I could do anything I wanted. The support I've received from everyone I know at home, will continually fuel me to make them all proud someday. I am eternally grateful for my home and my people.

SABS Programming Note...

BittenTune in to SPACE in Canada on Saturday, January 11/14 and to Syfy in the US on Monday, January 13/14 for the premiere of Steve's new show BITTEN.

"Based on the New York Times best-selling Women of the Otherworld novels by Kelley Armstrong, Bitten is an emotionally charged supernatural thriller starring Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, Ted) as Elena Michaels, the lone female werewolf in existence."

And for fans of our fave HAVEN you'll know - BITTEN won't be the first time Steve and Laura are teaming up.  The two played James and Arla Cogan (aka the Colorado Kid and the Skin Walker aka Audrey & Nathan's son and the psycho serial killer of Season 3).

Can't wait to see their new project in the new year! Stay tuned!!!
