JONATHAN TORRENS Extended Interview

Posted: August 12, 2013

SABStv with Jonathan Torrens & Stephanie Beaumont stills ON SET WITH MR DWhat a wonderful time we had visiting the set of MR.D - thanks entirely to the amazing Jonathan Torrens. (We tweeted him with the ask - he hooked us up - some sweet)

We've featured the PEI born, Nova Scotia based multi-talented fella many times before and through articles like his Cool People Profile and Favourite Four Feature, not to mention all the times he's appeared on screen - it felt as if we were old friends.  Truth be told - our on-set visit marked our first meeting - and true to form Mr.Torrens could not have been more accommodating, more gracious or more hilarious.

A hit on the set - with cast and crew - Jonathan put everybody at ease while effortlessly delivering his always funny performance as Vice Principal Robert Cheeley on the CBC hit comedy series.

We'll always be grateful to ya Jonathan Torrens - you're the very knees of the bee you are! SABS

This interview, as noted above, is the extended version of the interview which appears in our special "ON SET WITH MR.D" episode of SEA AND BE SCENE TV. You can click here to see that show - which includes interviews with Jonathan's fellow castmates - Naomi Snieckus, Isabelle Beaupre, Liam Cyr and Hans Pettersen, along with show co-creator and Executive Producer Mike Volpe and MR.D himself Gerry Dee.
