Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Nova Scotia:

1. Visit the Public Gardens, Halifax

2. Drive around Chester and surroundings and on to Lunenburg

3. Visit Wolfville and the road to The Lookoff and Cape Split

What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?

I named the studio I work in “The SHIRE” because, for me, Nova Scotia always has an idyllic, quaint, beautiful and delicate beauty to it; just like the fabled “Shire” in Tolkien’s "Middle Earth". There is also something special in the “light” around here. The air has a crispness to it that makes colours very vibrant and rich. I think it may be the density of the salty air…I’m not sure what it is – but Nova Scotia has a certain “je ne sai quois”
