Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a coffee?

You’re most likely to see me at a Tim Horton’s somewhere. Though, I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I’ll always get their hot chocolate.

Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a pint?

In my kitchen, LOL. I don’t go to clubs, so I’ll have a drink or 2 at home. And it’s always Gibsons Whiskey.

Where’s your favourite place to shop in Newfoundland & Labrador?

You will probably laugh, but I love going to Walmart. They have everything I need in the one place. 🙂

Where in Newfoundland & Labrador would we stand to see your favourite view?

Signal Hill has the best view. I love looking out over the ocean. It’s a great place to think.

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Newfoundland & Labrador:

1. You have to experience our sci-fi convention, Sci-Fi on the Rock. It happens every April. You get to meet great guests from various sci-fi shows, plus wonderful and talented local artists as well.

2. Visit The Rooms, Newfoundland’s cultural museum. It’s a great way to learn everything about our past.

3. A good feed of fish and chips. My family usually do our own as our oldest child has a gluten allergy, but I heard that Ches’s Fish & Chips is a great place.

What makes Newfoundland & Labrador such a special place on earth for you?

Because my family and roots are here. This is my home. I can’t see myself living anywhere else. There’s still so many places I’ve never seen. You can drive through the different communities and each of them are so different. The scenery you can’t get anywhere else. It’s the perfect vacation spot. 🙂
