Sea and be Scene – TV Premiere

Posted: October 17, 2012

Hooray!!! Our very first episode of SEA AND BE SCENE premiered on Bell Aliant's Community One channel on Monday, October 8, 2012.

That happened to be Thanksgiving here in Canada and I can't think of a more appropriate day for the next chapter of this great Atlantic Canadian adventure to begin.

Sea-and-be-Scene-TV11The hope is to squeeze a whole bunch of fun into each episode - all the people, places and things that make the four Atlantic provinces so special - one great event at a time.  The only trouble with that is the half hour format....when you like to chat as much as I do - it's particularly limiting - SO you can look for extended versions of interviews here on

Each episode will also feature great FREE STUFF too - so watch for the contest and good luck with it!!!

Our feature for this episode was the 32nd Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, NS and in another serendipitous twist - our world premiere episode just happened to be shooting on the same night as the world premiere of THE DISAPPEARED so we got the chance to talk to stars Shawn Doyle and Billy Campbell, along with co-writer and director Shandi Mitchell along with so many other wonderful folks.

We'll be posting each episode in two parts - and you'll be able to tell quickly who we feature by the stills below. So while this page features part 1 - you can click on the part 2 pics below and it will take you to that page when you're ready.

I hope you enjoy watching as much as I did making it.  Stay tuned for more SEA AND BE SCENE...our TV fun has just begun!!!

Ep 101 part 1 - features Wayne Carter, Dan Myers, Deanne Foley, Stephanie Burry and Shandi Mitchell

SAB TV Ep 101 part 2 featuring Shawn Doyle, Stephen Fudge, Billy Campbell, Shawn Piller & Joel High
