NB's Angry Candy did make it to the top 3, but the first season of CANADA'S GOT TALENT came to a close last night with the most votes across the nation going to 3 teenagers from Fort Alexander, MB.

Sagkeeng's Finest took home the grand prize of $100,000 (Cdn), a brand new Nissan GT-R, tickets for an all-inclusive trip to the island of Tobago, a spot in Citytv’s New Year’s Bash, a chance to perform in a Las Vegas show, and the title of  'Canada’s Most Talented Act'.

So that's a wrap but before we close the season (and I know I've posted it before I'll post it again) – to all of our East Coast Contenders – congratulations you were amazing and I know we'll be hearing from you again before too long. SABS

WOW!!!! Did you see the finale performances of CANADA'S GOT TALENT last night?!

Unbelievable - and totally awesome were our two remaining East Coast Contenders - Angry Candy and Ivan Daigle.

Ivan Daigle performs Brad Paisley's - This is Country Music on the Canada's Got Talent finaleThe pressure those 12 acts must have felt after 9 months, with just 90 seconds to win over the nation's vote must have been staggering, but seriously - every one brought their A-game.

Ivan sang a straight ahead and totally true version of Brad Paisley's "This is Country Music" - after which the audience and the judges were on their feet.

Martin Short said "the song choice was brilliant...brilliant performance".

Measha Brueggergosman agreed saying Ivan was "absolutely spot on...and you're from New Brunswick" 🙂  and Stephan Moccio said "That performance – you took it home tonight!"

Angry Candy - Izzy sings Adele's Someone Like YouAs for Angry Candy - they blew the doors off with their take on Adele's smash "Someone Like You".

Standing O's all around for them as well with Measha saying it was a "wonderful, wonderful, wonderful job", Stephan agreeing with "you guys all hit a homerun tonight" and Mr. Short echoing the sentiment with "you guys did everything right – loved it"!

We LOVED both acts and no matter what - you did us some proud!!!

And just who did the nation love the most?
We'll find out tonight on the LIVE results show - the season finale of CANADA'S GOT TALENT broadcasts tonight at 8pm AT/ 8:30pm NT.
