The 2012 International CES took place this week amid the twinkling lights of the Las Vegas strip with a record number of 3,100 plus companies on a show floor that exceeded 1.85 million square feet of exhibit space. That’s more than 37 football fields filled with consumer technology innovation -- so believe me when I say that my feet really are tired.

Thousands from the consumer electronics community attend this show to see what’s new for the coming year and what new innovations are just around the corner. And they weren’t disappointed.

Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer kicked off the show with the company’s last keynote and last exhibition at the show. But they went out in style showing off new Windows Phones, new innovations for Xbox 360 and teased the upcoming Windows 8.

The celebrity factor was in high gear with the likes of LL Cool J, Ryan Seacrest and Canada's own Justin Bieber. They were in attendance to support new products and check out the latest in consumer electronics.
