Our Chat in Chester with ARLENE DICKINSON

Posted: August 17, 2011

Arlene Dickinson with Sea and be Scene host Stephanie BeaumontI’m a fan – let’s just start there.

I watch Dragons' Den faithfully and love everything about it….the pressure on the presenters, the business prowess of the presiding panel.  Folks bring their products and services and concepts into the Den with great hopes of making it happen. Sometimes it’s a homerun – sometimes it’s crash and burn, but always it’s great to watch and always I’m beyond impressed with lone lady DragonArlene Dickinson.

You can imagine then, how cool it was to not only meet her – but sit down with her for a chat on camera. Arlene was in Chester, Nova Scotia for a wonderful fundraiser Race for Hope to benefit the Stephen Lewis foundation.

Hundreds of people were there, so I’m truly grateful she made time for a one on one with me.

We talked about her impressions of the province, her hit TV show and naturally, since I had her there…we talked business tips – well she talked and I listened!

It was amazing!

Now I just have to follow her advice…please no wagering. sb
