A Talk and A Tune with The Bill Stevenson

Posted: March 23, 2011

Bill Stevenson pianoA long touring musician - Bill Stevenson has opened for The Doors, played behind John Lee Hooker and shared the stage with Buddy Guy and Junior Wells…to name a few.  So when we got the chance to meet up for a chat at The Press Gang in Halifax, Nova Scotia we were indeed thrilled.

Matter of fact you can find Stevenson there once a month along with his great friends and fellow musicians Tom Easley and Geoff Arsenault.  All three gentleman have their own diverse and successful careers in R-L Tom Easley, Bill Stevenson & Geoff Arsenaultmusic, but when they get together it’s musical….magic.

Always performing on stage, on the radio, in-studio…the man is in demand.  It was great to have a quiet one on one chat with Bill about how it all started for him...what he likes about playing The Press Gang and... beyond lovely to hear him play – just for us.

Thanks Bill Stevenson! We salute YOU! SABS
