Sid The Kid’s Golden Goodbye???

Up for a great debate in Toronto this week at the World Hockey Summit is the partnership between the NHL and The Olympics.

It’s true – if it were up to Gary Bettman, a bunch of team owners and GM’s they’d just as soon see the regular season continue without the break when the world competes in Sochi Russia 2014.  That way no risk of injuries and fatigue and really...what do they get out of the deal anyway?

But if it were up to most of the NHL players and Hockey Canada, along with the International Ice Hockey Federation and who are we kidding every hockey fan on the planet - they’d be lacing 'em up and playing for the hardware like they have since '98 in Nagano.

Only time will tell if Sidney Crosby NS will be the last NHL player to score an Olympic goal – then again if it was to be the finale – you couldn’t have asked for a more ‘storybook’ ending.

Scene Stealer & Traffic Stopper

The pride of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia made an impact on his home province again this this past week (w/of Aug.16th).  Sidney was in the city shooting a commercial at the historical Hyrdrostone Market which had traffic stopped...who wouldn’t stop for that face....Sidney Crosby
