Like the Moon Moves the Tides..

The Atlantic Provinces are filled with talented and interesting people.  One of our goals at Sea and be Scene is to share their stories, showcase their incredible diversity of artistry and skills...and let’s be clear – entice you to visit or maybe even move here...and besides this way you’ll feel like you have some friends on the ground... by the sea.

So first up - meet Joan McInnes...who fell in love (with a fella) and then moved here and then fell in love again (with the fella’s homeland).  And what started as a fun craft at camp when she was a kid has developed into a growing business called – Tidedancer Jewelry Designs.   Matter of fact - she has the Atlantic Ocean tides to thank for both her inspiration and the materials which she incorporates into her works, along with sterling silver, semi-precious stones, leather, glass beads, and Swarovski crystal.   And just like each wave each one of her creations is unique and original.

Throughout this summer...Joan  will be selling her jewelry from 10am – 3ish on Wednesdays & Thursdays, at the Kiwi Cafe Too in Chester, NS and on Friday afternoons from 2 – 5pm at the NEW Chester Farmers’ Market (down by the gazebo & Yacht Club, in Parade Square). And as often as possible - you can find Joan dancing the tides, finding oceans of treasures and creating her beautiful works of art.

Check out Tidedancer Jewelry Designs Facebook 'group'.
