Benjamin Noah Brings NEW WOMAN to FIN

Posted: September 11, 2019

Labrador born/Newfoundland based filmmaker Benjamin Noah will see his latest short film NEW WOMAN screen at the 2019 FIN Atlantic International Film Festival - not once - but twice!

The first on Friday, Sept. 13th as part of the Atlantic Shorts Program (tickets) and again on Sunday, Sept. 15th at the Encore Presentation (tickets)

And is it a coincidence that NEW WOMAN's first foray at FIN happens on a Friday the 13th...
when there's a full moon?!!!

I say no way!!!

Just watch the trailer and I'm sure you'll agree.

NL talents Rhiannon Morgan (REPUBLIC OF DOYLE) and Stephen Oates (LITTLE DOG) star in the eerie gothic-romance based in 1888 St.John's.

Benjamin's homeland serves as a the fierce and frosty backdrop for the film and the movie's poster featured above... well that was created by Mike Feehan of DC Comics fame. How's that for cool?!

Cooler still - while Mr.Noah is hunkered down in Halifax at FIN this Sunday night - NEW WOMAN will be premiering at The Lebanese Independent Film Festival in Beirut where it's up for Best Foreign Fiction film!!!

We couldn't be happier for this #NLfella and we can't wait to chat with him at #AIFF2019 - so stay tuned for our interview on SEA AND BE SCENE... And HEARD in the weeks following this year's festival. SABS
