2019 East Coast Music Award Winners

The annual gathering of the East Coast Music Association in underway in Charlottetown, PEI.  May 1 through the 5th will include a whole lot of handshakin' and music makin' - and oh yes... award takin'!  Indeed, amidst the showcase concerts, songwriters' circles and networking sessions - the artists and industry members pause to honour the best of the best - as was the case during the 2019 ECMA Awards Show held early this evening in the Confederation Ballroom at Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward.

The live national broadcast hosted by the one and only Jonathan Torrens included performances by Classified, Catherine MacLellan, Dave Gunning, Fortunate Ones, Hillsburn, Jimmy Rankin, Lennie Gallant, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Mallory Johnson, Rachel Beck, Reeny Smith, and Vishtèn.

Thirteen trophies were awarded with the balance to be handed out this Sunday, May 5 as part of the East Coast Music & Industry Awards celebration taking place in the Confederation Ballroom at Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward at 7:30pm. That evening will feature performances by Paper Lions, Rose Cousins, Old Man Luedecke, and Postdata.

We'll be sure to let you know who wins what following Sunday's ceremonies but in the meantime...
