Bluegrass & Acoustic Music Jamboree- Summerside Legion

Every Monday Night

Michael Pendergast, The Music Man- The Guild Theatre, Charlottetown
Tuesdays
With his many accordions, engaging presence and repertoire of children’s songs, Pendergast will present a mixture of songs, old songs that seem new and new songs that sound like they've been around. Popalopalots Live Improv Comedy- The Guild Main Stage
Every Friday
popalopalotsUtilizing a variety of improv games, The Popalopalots create scenes, characters, and situations all right on the spot based on audience suggestions. This can lead to awkward, compromising, and often hilarious outcomes. Join Sketch22 veterans Rob MacDonald and Graham Putnam, as well as their fellow comedians Jordan Cameron, Ben Hartley, Cameron MacDonald, and Dylan Miller as they perform never-before-seen and never-seen-again improvised sketches and scenes! Choral Music Programme: In Remembrance  Trinity United Church
November 11 - 7:30 pm
The Centre’s adult choir, the Confederation Singers, and the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus, present a Remembrance Day concert of choral music and readings in honour of Canada’s war veterans. “In Remembrance offers an evening of thought-provoking poetry complemented by apt selections of choral music -- one reflects and heightens the other,” says Don Fraser, director of choral music at Confederation Centre. Trinity-Clifton United Church
November 16 & 17
The annual Christmas Fair at Trinity United Church, 220 Richmond St, Charlottetown and takes place Nov 16 (10am - 4pm) and Nov 17 (9.30am - 2pm).  Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Fair will feature: jams, jellies, pickles, cookies, cake, bake table, candies, fudge, crafts, jewelry, deli, silent auction, treasures, sewing, knitting, books and Christmas decorations. Stratford Schools Holiday Market
November 16 & 17
Stratford Elementary and Glen Stewart Primary are holding their annual holiday market on Nov16 and Nov 17. The holiday market is being held at Stratford Elementary, 50 Glen Stewart Dr, and will be open on Friday from 5:00-9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Come browse over 90 exhibitors with items ranging from homemade food, crafts and trinkets. Admission is $3.00 but children under 12 are free.

 

The Mount Christmas Craft Fair
November 17
The Mount Continuing Care Community will host a Christmas craft fair on Nov 17 from 9am - 3pm at 141 Mt Edward Rd.

 

Santa’s Angels Fundraiser- Gary’s Sequenced Christmas Lights, Johnstons River
December 1 - December 31
Come and see a house lit up with 3 thousand + lights dancing as they are sequenced with Christmas music. Santa’s Angels – a 100% volunteer-based group that provides a surprise Christmas morning to families in the Charlottetown area that are not able, for one reason or another, to provide Christmas gifts and food for their children.
