The Battery Cafe

Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a bite to eat?

The Two Whales Coffee Shop in Port Rexton. It’s delicious and healthy. Lots of their food is grown on site and they have a display case that’s always full of yummy desserts!

Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a pint?

The Black Sheep, while listening to great live music

Where’s your favourite place to shop in Newfoundland & Labrador?

Found Consignment Boutique

Where in Newfoundland & Labrador would we stand to see your favourite view?

Torbay Point, part of the east coast trail overlooking Middle Cove (Where I’m from) Outer Cove, Torbay,  Flat Rock….

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Newfoundland & Labrador:

1. Take a boat through the Narrows in St. John’s Harbour

2. Walk some of the East Coast trail. It’s all beautiful

3. Visit the Bonavista Peninsula. There’s so much going on there.  Stop in Trinity for chocolate at Aunt Sarah’s (Butter Crisp!) and have a meal at the Bonavista Social Club in Upper Amherst Cove.  Keels and King’s Cove are also favorite places of mine in that area.

What makes Newfoundland & Labrador such a special place on earth for you?

The people and the pace. We love to enjoy the simple things in life such as a good meal, a few songs and a good laugh sitting around the kitchen table.
