Acadian Arts and Craft Day- West Pubnico
every week on Thursday

Mother Goose / French for Fun Program- Petit de Grat Library
Wednesdays

LOVE and LOVERS - Studio 21 Art Gallery Halifax
On until March 7
A group exhibition opening on love day with our 5th annual Valentine’s Day Art + Wine event. Featuring works by Laura Jean Forrester, Stephen Hutchings, Ania Biczysko, Ineke Graham, Heather Macleod, Jennifer Hornyak, Simon Andrew, Eva Lapka and Mariko Paterson.  More about Valentine's Day Art + Wine:  Sommelier Wally Fraser will match a variety of wines with works from the LOVE and LOVERS exhibition. Dine Around- various venues, Halifax
Runs until March 15
Every year, restaurants across the province showcase an array of Nova Scotia product and creativity at an attractive price during Dine Around. Running from January 15th to March 15th, various menus will be available starting at $25. Menus will be a mix of three course prix-fixe menus, as well as small plates.  Please book directly with participating restaurants. Learn more here.


Dance for All Ages - Halifax
March 3
Escape the winter blahs on Saturday, March 3 from 7:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. at The Olympic Hall Community Centre (2304 Hunter Street at Cunard), as the Los Primos Project presents its annual Dance for All Ages. This fundraiser is in support of Los Primos, the Canada/Cuba cultural exchange program for young musicians in Nova Scotia and Cuba, now celebrating its twentieth anniversary. The night features salsa dance lessons and performances including the following:  Latin Groove with Augusto Enriquez, NSCC Latin Band, Gruvéra; Halifax Salseros ; Preston Primos; Latispanica and DJ Moses Diallo.

March Break at Ross Farm Museum
March 10 - 18
Come out for March Break on the farm. Each day of March Break will have a theme relating to the farm. As always there will be lots of hands on activities for everyone to enjoy and crafts that everyone can participate in throughout the day. Hot chocolate will be served. Stems & Legs 2017 - Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design, Sydney
March 24
Stems & Legs is a fundraising event that brings our community together in an appreciation of fine wine paired with a setting of equally fine craft. Come join us for an elegant evening of tasting and learning about 15 wines from around the world. Stems & Legs is the perfect occasion to get out of the house and enjoy a night of fine wine! 39th Annual Earltown Community Maple Festival
March 31, 2017 – 10am to 6pm
Location: 5527, Highway 311 Earltown, Nova Scotia. Pancakes, baked beans, sausages, biscuit, sweets, tea/coffee, juice. All you can eat pancakes.
