Calling all Allan Hawco fans....
The wait is almost over!
CAUGHT is set to premiere on CBC Monday, February 26th 9pm/9:30pm in NL.
Set in 1978, this 5 x 60min edgy and dramatic series filmed last year on location in Newfoundland, Ontario and the Dominican Republic.
Hawco plays David Slaney who, after being locked up following a drug bust, "makes a daring escape from a New Brunswick prison to attempt one more drug deal with his former partner. It’s Slaney’s last chance at freedom but in this tale of bravado and betrayal, nothing is what it seems and no one can be trusted."

There’s no such thing as a clean getaway. Allan Hawco , Paul Gross, Eric Johnson, Enuka Okuma and Tori Anderson star in Caught - premiering Monday February 26th on CBC.

Paul Gross (HYENA ROAD), Tori Anderson (KILLJOYS), Eric Johnson (THE KNICK), and Enuka Okuma (ROOKIE BLUE) round out the principal cast, but keep your eyes peeled for Cape Breton's own Billy MacLellan (MAUDIE) and kindred spirit Greg Bryk (FRONTIER) who are in on the fun as well.
Mr.Hawco has championed this show from the get go - in fact we first heard about it during a one on one interview back in October 2014. In that chat he announced CAUGHT was in development with eONE, and it was anticipated then that CBC would carry the show (watch that interview) – and now here we are all these years later - just weeks away from the CBC premiere!
Interesting to note - all the while Allan was working on this labour of love called CAUGHT (as writer, executive producer, show runner and star) he also made time to star in HYENA ROAD, WEIRDOS, FRONTIER and THE CHILD REMAINS.
Indeed there's never a dull moment for the Bell Island boy, and boy oh boy are we ever glad he keeps on creating! SABS
