Spirit of Newfoundland Dinner Theatre- St. John's
runs throughout the year
Spirit of Newfoundland & Labrador is a dynamic and spirited company in its 15th year. It consists of trained vocalists who flaunt their Newfoundland heritage by singing passionate, vibrant and harmony-filled songs. st. john's farmers marketSt. John’s Farmer’s Market- Lion’s Chalet
Every Saturday until December 23
It is a busy season at the St. John’s Farmers Market. New vendors and more farmers are making the Market a great opportunity to find a wide selection of high quality products; all fresh and locally produced. In addition, you’ll find such products as paleo, gluten-free and vegan treats, handmade soup mixes, delicious sauces, jam and preserves, pickled vegetables, fresh wild blueberries, international food from Africa, India, Turkey, Brazil, Thailand, Colombia and much more. Red Maple Festival- Grand Falls-Windsor
runs until November 5
Best decorated Halloween House Contest, community fall festival featuring swimming, hockey tournament, ball hockey tournament, horse drawn rides, mockey game, pre-teen & teen dances, adult dances and community skating. Annual BPAC Craft Fair- Marystown
November 3 - 5
Take in the fun & friendly chatter of our largest regional craft fair, an annual gathering place for hundreds of artisans ages 16 to 90. Local musicians fill the air with songs as you enjoy the taste, smell & colors of their juried wares: Christmas cakes, gingerbread, fudge, homemade bread, bright knits & felt hats, jewelry, books, sealskin & woodwork, soaps 7 Candles, quilts, floral décor. Festival du Vent- St. John's
November 4 - 20
An annual celebration of French culture, & the wind. The francophones of the St. John's region have organised a fall festival at the Centre scolaire et communautaire des Grands-Vents, the heart of French culture on the Avalon Peninsula. Christmas Craft Fair- ACC,  St. John's
November 9 - 12
The Craft Council's Christmas Craft Fair has more than 40 years of history, bringing its loyal supporters an eclectic offering of fine craft. Works in metal, clay, wood, paper, fibre, bone, stone and glass have been crafted with skill and care and are presented by their makers. This is your opportunity to meet the craftspeople, hear their stories and bring home fine craft that will please you - and everyone on your Christmas list. Christmas at the Commissariat- St. John's
November 18 - 19 & 24 - 25
Warm cider by the fire, sing-along carols, and special candlelit tours of the Commissariat with characters from 1830s St. John’s - beware the Christmas fool! (Tours in 10 min. intervals will start after the lighting of the Yule. (Dress warmly!) Further details can be found by clicking here

November 22 - 25
As an orphaned child Jane Eyre (Alanah Whiteway) is first cruelly abused by her aunt, then cast out and sent to a charity school. Though she meets with further abuse, she receives an education and eventually takes a job as a governess at the estate of Edward Rochester (Chris Bishop). Bay Roberts Festival of Lights BAY-ROBERTS-CHRISTMAS
November 23 - January 6
The Festival of Lights is a collection of community events that celebrate the season of Christmas. A two time National Winters Lights winner, the festival hosts the largest Nativity collection east of Montreal and the provinces first and largest intelligent light park. Boasting two Santa Claus parades, one in the day and one at night. Come a "mummering"  at an old fashion concert!
