Spirit of Newfoundland Dinner Theatre- St. John's

Every Saturday until December 23
It is a busy season at the St. John’s Farmers Market. New vendors and more farmers are making the Market a great opportunity to find a wide selection of high quality products; all fresh and locally produced. Partridgeberry Festival- Iceberg Arena, Fogo Island
October 6 - 8
Showcasing partridgeberries and produce of Fogo Island. Farmers market, crafts, demonstration of traditional woodworking, quilting and rug hooking skills for young and old. The people of Fogo Island and Change Islands will show you how they feel about their heritage and why it's important to keep it alive. Music, jam sessions, food, talks on the benefits of berries, bake-off, crafts, harvest competitions, vinegars made with local berries, dancing. Follow this link for further details

 

Fall Bazaar- Parish of the Resurrection, South River
October 7
Annual Parish Fall Bazaar, Saturday, October 8, 10am - 2pm. We will need preserves, crafts, baked goods, monetary donations. If you do any of these please put some aside for our sale. St. John's International Women's Festival
October 18 - 22
A 5-day film festival that attracts industry professionals and film enthusiasts. About 80 films - documentaries, short films and feature works - will be screened. St. John's Christmas at the Glacier: Festival of Craft & Art- Mount Pearl
October 19 - 23
