2017 Iceberg Alley Performance Tent

Quidi Vidi will come alive with a variety of musical entertainment and performances ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Brigus Production Company is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Iceberg Alley Performance Tent to be held in the culturally historic Quidi Vidi area in the City of St. John’s from September 14-24, 2017.

Nightly performances will feature artists and bands that appeal to a wide variety of genres and tastes; from alternative pop favourites The Strumbellas, to one of the most successful Canadian bands in the 1990s Sloan, to JUNO and multiple CCMA Award winning artist Dean Brody with support from The Roadhammers. Additional performances will come from multiple JUNO award winners the Arkells and a reunion concert featuring local favourites Crush and Timber. The Festival will conclude with a partnership with the 2017 Wreckhouse International Jazz and Blues Festival that will bring Big Sugar and other great jazz and blues acts to the stage.

The one of a kind venue will have a capacity of over 2,000 patrons under a 25,000 square foot “big top” to negate the weather factor and create an intimate and interactive environment second to none. Brigus Production President John Steele commented that “we are committed to creating an annual event that will showcase the unique culture, traditions and heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador alongside internationally acclaimed entertainment. The event will be designed to maximize economic impact through visitations and the promotion of our Province as an authentic experience destination”
