Spirit of Newfoundland Dinner Theatre- St. John's
runs throughout the year

Grand Bank Regional Theatre Festival

Central Northeast Health Foundation's Regatta - Lewisporte Yacht Club
July 7 & 8
The Foundations' Regatta has evolved into one fabulous day of boating for sail and power boat enthusiasts along with two nights of fun.  Since it's inception in 2007 the event has raised over $368,000 for patients thoughout Central Newfoundland. Last year with our theme "Pirates" we went old school with back to our first Regatta and celebrated our 10th Anniversary.  A great time was had in this year's Regatta raising an astounding $46,000 in net proceeds to support healthcare in Central Newfoundland. Be sure to join us this year as we celebrate our Canada's 150th Birthday on July 7th and 8th at the Lewisporte Yacht Club.  Have fun with your costume creations and register your boat early. Burin Peninsula Festival of Folk Song and Dance
July 7 - 9
Accordion & fiddle sounds fill the air. Feet unconsciously tap in slow unison to haunting melodies or quicken to tunes of jigs & reels. A voice lifts acapella from the stage telling a story of shipwrecks & legends, ballads of life & love. Musicians from 9 to 90, from far and near, connect in this festival of rich musical heritage. COMEDY AT WOODY POINT
July 14 & 15
Ready for another weekend of gut-busting laughter in Gros Morne? After a sold-out first year in 2016, Comedy at Woody Point is returning to the Woody Point Heritage Theatre in the summer of 2017 with a brand new lineup of comics. Comedy at Woody Point will take place July 14 and 15, 2017 at the Woody Point Heritage Theatre, with returning host Steve Patterson. Hann’s Point Theatre Festival- Lewisporte

Bird Island Puffin Festival - Elliston
July 13 - 15
An eight day event featuring live local entertainment, traditional meals served from the kitchen, including moose burgers.  More info can be found on the website

 

Annual Bay Roberts Klondyke Days- various venues
July 19 - August 7, 2017

Grand Bank Summer FestivalGrand Bank Summer Festival
July 29 - August 5
Community fair on the waterfront, dory races, fireworks, traditional Newfoundland dinners, big truck parade, traditional Newfoundland music - local and provincial, breakfast on the waterfront, giant indoor/outdoor bingo, community open air service, sporting events, etc. Grand finale street dance on Grand Bank Day.
