Acadian Arts and Craft Day- West Pubnico
every week on Thursday

Mother Goose / French for Fun Program- Petit de Grat Library
Wednesdays
With Rachel MacGillivray & Louise Migneault every Wednesday from 10am-11:30am at the Petit de Grat Library in Petit de Grat, NS, for ages 0-6.  Program includes 2 stories (English & French), a light snack, a craft, children's songs, and ends with a musical exercise game. Please contact the Petit de Grat Library at (902) 226-3534 or email [email protected] for more information.

New Book Bash- Marginal Road, Halifax
May 6

Join the N.S. Children’s Literature Roundtable as we recognize the latest works by our local children’s book creators at our annual New Book Bash. Discover some wonderful new books, meet the authors and illustrators who have created them and enjoy the reception that we have prepared to celebrate them! All are welcome. Annual Historic Gardens Dinner & Auction
May 28
This annual gala auction event has become a much anticipated social gathering and is the key annual fundraiser for the Gardens. The evening involves a wonderful meal, and plenty of great items to bid on, including lots of incredible plant material for your garden!It is a wonderful social time as community members and visitors alike gather in support of the award-winning Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens. One of our guests describes it as “more fun than a Barrel of Monkeys!”. The Dinner & Auction is held at the Annapolis Royal Legion & Community Centre, Victoria Street, Annapolis Royal. The end of May is a wonderful time to visit the Gardens, so make a day of it, or even a weekend! Click here for more
