Where’s your favourite place in  Nova Scotia to grab a coffee?

Two if by Sea in downtown Dartmouth.  … 'cause that's where my wife loves to go.....need I say more?  It also doesn't hurt that it's full of hip, cool and 'artsy' people.

Where’s your favourite place in  Nova Scotia to grab a pint?

Stayner's Wharf on the Waterfront in Halifax.  They have live music every night, great food...and it's right downtown.  With their outdoor patio in the summer, it can be a great place to branch out.  I worked there for a few years and now I just like to visit as a patron.  🙂

Where’s your favourite place to shop in Nova Scotia?

The best place to shop would be the local Farmer's Markets and on the side of the road artisan shops.  Support local wherever you can, and here in Nova Scotia local artisans can be found everywhere. You can find such incredible, unique and beautiful things.  Especially in the summertime.

Where in  Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?

The Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia is Raw and untouched with amazing water views Everywhere.  Lawrencetown Beach is one of its crowns.  The South Shore is also incredible and has beautiful views while you drive along past breathtaking vistas.  Especially through Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenberg.  It's hard to pick just

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit  Nova Scotia:

1. Drink Alexander Keith's I.P.A-A beer that found it's fame here in Halifax.(YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE TOUR - It's actually a period show done  in the old brewery in the Brewery Market on Barrington St. You will have a BLAST. GUARANTEED.)

2. Visit Peggy's Cove - It has our most photographed spot in Nova Scotia....The Lighthouse on the rocks at Peggy's Cove. The views will astound you.

3. If you have enough time.....visit Cape Breton and drive the Cabot Trail.  If you are the one doing the driving, make sure you keep your eyes on the road. The views here are so incredible you will keep looking at the scenery and be all over the roads that climb the sides of mountains.  Best to pull off at the "look out spots" and bring a good camera and take LOTS of pictures.

What makes  Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?

The pure natural beauty and the kindness and generous spirit of the people that live here.  Nova Scotia in the summer is truly unbeatable. I love it here.  If you visit, you will know as soon as you fly over our province.  There is water, water everywhere, and the beauty seems to never end.  I think people should come and visit this amazing place with all of it's incredible history and wonderfully kind and giving people.
