HAVEN Renewed for a 5th Season

Posted: January 28, 2014

The news we've all been waiting for - wahoo!!!!

And the greenlight on 26 episodes means double the TROUBLES!

HAVEN stills Season 4With a series that's been built on a delicious blend of twists, turns and troubles... we should have expected no less than the suspense they've built up over the last few months - but it's fair to say...we were nervous.

If you've been tracking the #RenewHAVEN hashtag you would have seen the concerted effort by we the faithful fans to exert whatever powers we had over the powers that be... needless to say we're HAPPY!!!!!

Syfy viewers have been without their HAVEN fix for months now and while Canada still have 2 more episodes to broadcast on Showcase tensions were high - until the official word came today - HAVEN has been renewed for a 5th season! And not only that but they've been greenlit for a double dose -
so we've got 26 episodes worth of T-R-O-U-B-L-E to look forward to!!!

We at SABS couldn't be happier - we love the show, so there's that, but since our world wide headquarters are located right here in the HAVENhood (aka Chester, Nova Scotia) we're so looking forward to having the whole gang back here come spring.

If history holds true - we expect cast and crew to begin production mid-late April - no word on a wrap date yet but shooting twice the number of episodes will have an impact on everything - stay tuned for more news! SABS
