A deep sense of warmth and comfort permeates Rhaye’s fourth album, Far Gone Lullabies. Confident, yet relaxed, the album is the work of an artist who has come into her own.

The album’s nine tracks display a playful range, from the contemporary folk opener, “It is All Right”, to the closing cover of “Four Strong Winds”, Rhaye’s bright and driving take on the Canadian songbook staple.

Showcasing soaring, winsome vocals Rhaye's relaxed approach extended to her collaborators too. Canadian pop luminaries, Ron Sexsmith, Royal Wood, Kevin Fox and Steve Poltz, all co-wrote tracks on Far Gone Lullabies and some added backup vocals.

JRhaye_FarGoneLullabies_CDcover“The new album Far Gone Lullabies is simply beautiful; a captivating mix of acoustic country pop, thoughtfully arranged and intimately written.”- Maverick Magazine

“Astutely and, at times, lavishly produced, this, her fourth release, includes an appearance by the celebrated Saint John String Quartet and Grammy Award-winning, multi-instrumentalist Gordie Sampson, and it certainly raises the possibility that Rhaye’s career could take off in several directions.” - Penguin Eggs

Far Gone Lullabies is Rhaye’s third album produced and engineered by the award-winning duo of Ed Woodsworth and Jamie Foulds. It follows up her multi-award nominated Good Things (2010) and her sophomore release, Short Stories (2006), which saw her nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Contemporary Singer of the Year.
