Posted: June 28, 2013

It’s Friday and we're putting the finishing touches on another wonderful week with an extra-special edition of our fun feature that takes the #FF one 'F' further...and shakes up Twitter's popular acronym with a SABS twist.

The Sea and be Scene #FFF is your weekly chance to discover the four favourites of your favourite East Coast folks. The four questions will always stay the same... only the folks will change and this week…

We're throwing the spotlight on a fella who's used to working behind the scenes on everything from feature films to hit TV shows.  Producing, executive producing, creating, writing, directing - this man has done it all...incredibly well!

This USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate has put his degree to great use with projects that include include...

Stephen King’s DEAD ZONE starring Anthony Michael Hall - The series debuted June 16, 2002, on the USA Network and it was Dead Zone, Wildire, Greekthe highest-rated premiere in cable history. The show ran 6 seasons and is now syndicated globally.

ABC Family’s hit series GREEK - In 2007, he, along with partner Lloyd Segan, executive-produced the series which was ABC Family’s highest rated series ever. GREEK ran for a remarkable 6-season cable cycle and brought the network unprecedented new viewers.

WILDFIRE  for ABC Family Channel - Prior to GREEK, he, along with his late Father Michael and Segan, executive-produced WILDFIRE for the ABC Family Channel. WILDFIRE was the network's first original series and served the station extremely well in terms of growth.

He has sold several pilot/presentation scripts, including two as co-creator and two as producer under his deals with Granada Entertainment and Paramount Pictures.

So how does this Hollywood mega-talent end up in our #FFF feature you might ask - well as one third of Piller/Segan/Shepherd he is also Executive Producer of the series HAVEN... as well as a having directed multiple episodes of the show, now in it's 4th season of production right here in Nova Scotia.

He is gifted and, as you'll note from the pictures here and his appearance on the premiere of SEA AND BE SCENE TV here... he's right dreamy too - he is SHAWN PILLER!!!
