The cast is coming together and pre-production is in full swing.

However, there's no disputing our favourite bit of casting news came with word that Billy Campbell (THE DISAPPEARED/The Killing) will play Borden's attorney Andrew Jennings.

WOCampbell tweet re - Lizzie BordenSABS aside... We're sure hoping our paths will cross with Mr. Campbell while he's in the area and we can't wait to see his turn as Abner Beech in the Ron Maxwell film COPPERHEAD opening in select cities later this month.

Back to LIZZIE BORDEN... Nova Scotia will play the role of Fall River, Massachusetts in the Sony Pictures Television production that tells the infamous story of a daughter on trial for the brutal axe murders of her father Andrew Jackson Borden and her step-mother. To this day no one else has ever been charged with the crimes since Borden was acquitted on June 20, 1893.

We'll have more on the LIZZIE BORDEN biopic as the Nova Scotia production continues through to July 22, 2013. Stay tuned. SABS
