Casino New Brunswick presents international singing-sensation Roch Voisine, May 17
(Moncton, NB) – International singing-sensation, Roch Voisine will perform a bilingual show featuring his greatest hits at Casino New Brunswick’s Event Centre in Moncton on Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m.
Born in Edmunston and raised in Saint Basile, New Brunswick, Voisine’s musical career began in the summer of 1986 when he sang before a crowd of 50,000 at La Ronde in Montreal on Canada Day.
Subsequently, after many featured appearances on television, he hosted Top Jeunesse in 1988, a television program that brought him considerable public attention. The following year he played Danny Ross, a leading role, in the popular TV series Lance et Compte.
In June 1989, he released his first album, "Hélène", which soon became a hit in Quebec and took France by storm a few months later.
Voisine’s success was rapid and dazzling. Today, with 22 albums to his credit, millions of records sold and countless shows and tours around the world under his belt, he will return to his New Brunswick roots to celebrate over 25 years of making music.
