Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a coffee?
My kitchen, Two Whales in Port Rexton, Neil's Yard in Bonavista, Hava Java in St. John's.
Where’s your favourite place in Newfoundland & Labrador to grab a pint?
The Ship in St. John's is my local, I go for the bands and the fishcakes. Inn of Olde in Quidi Vidi is good for a scoff and a scuff. Found plenty of trouble at Rocky's Lounge in Trinity Proper.
Where’s your favourite place to shop in Newfoundland & Labrador?
Craft shops. My favorite on the Bonavista Peninsula is the Women's Institute on Hwy 230 just before Port Union. Best homemade jam selection!
Where in Newfoundland would we stand to see your favourite view?
That's a tough one. Saw a spectacular sunrise reflecting off some massive icebergs this past Spring in Western Bay. However you can sit and enjoy yummy pizza and BYO wine in Upper Amherst Cove at the Bonavista Social Club. That's the spot to watch the sunset and maybe even a whale or two.
Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Newfoundland & Labrador:
1. Check out some live music in St. John's.
2. Hiking in Gros Morne.
3. Shed parties.
What makes Newfoundland & Labrador such a special place on earth for you?
Freedom to express myself creatively. We have such a nurturing community of talented and inspiring artists. The beauty of the landscape. And we know how to have a good time!
