The Nickel Independent Film Festival is getting set to celebrate its 12th year of showcasing the truly cool.

From June 19 - 23 at St.John's historic LSPU Hall you can take in films of every genre, from across the country, around the world and most certainly from Newfoundland & Labrador – including short films, features, documentaries, animations, music videos, and experimental films.

Beyond the screenings the festival features workshops, local performers, visual artists, panels with the filmmakers, meet & greets, and one heck of a closing night shindig!

SABS Note of Noteworthiness

On Thursday, June 21st at 10:30pm our good pal Kevin Kelly will host the Late Night Horror Show for this year's festival and when it comes to that we've only got 4 words for ya...
