FRESH & NEW!!! Introducing the CHEF'S CORNER
The Cape Breton Farmers’ Market has joined forces with local chefs to offer a “Chef’s Corner” food demonstration on the last Saturday of every month at the Cape Breton Farmers’ Market
Starting this Saturday the CBFM will welcome their first volunteer, Chef Ardon Mofford from Governors Pub and Eatery (Sydney) to prepare a signature, seasonal dish using ingredients gathered at the Cape Breton Farmers’ Market.
The cooking demonstration will provide a place for customers to gather and learn about the selection and preparation of seasonal produce, as well as to sample the final product.
The Chef’s Corner will take place in the dining room area, this Saturday, May 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m and again on the last Saturday of the month from there on! See you there. SABS

WE LOVE FARMERS’ MARKETS!
Not only are they the perfect way to shop local and support the people growing, baking and creating in your area, but they are a wonderful way to connect with your community.
We found just the right blend of great local goods and great local folks at the Cape Breton Farmers Market in Sydney River, Nova Scotia.
If you're looking for fresh produce or meats, knitwear or quilts, jewelry or crafts, baked goods or breakfast sandwiches...
You can find it all there for sure.
Moreover you can meet the people who make it all possible – talk about their harvest or handcrafted designs – discuss the ingredients and sample selections.
So lovely!
With truly great coffee in hand - we took it all in and loved every minute of our Saturday morning spent at the Cape Breton Farmers’ Market.
Make plans to enjoy it yourself. SABS
