After festival premieres and great reviews - TAKE THIS WALTZ is set to hit theatres June 29, 2012. Now - I've scoured the trailer above for a glimpse of Cape Breton but couldn't find a smidge.
Still, we're hopeful the scenes shot in this corner of the country will make a big impact on the audience.

Take This Waltz was just voted #19 on the Top 100 Most Anticipated Movies of 2011 by ioncinema.com. While no release date has been set - rumours have the Sarah Polley film premiering in September at the Toronto International Film Festival . Fitting really considering most of the film was shot on location in the city - still we're looking forward to the scenes filmed here in Atlantic Canada. SABS
Original Post - August 25/11
Award winning actress, director and Oscar Nominated Screen writer Sarah Polley is behind the camera once again. Take This Waltz starring Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain) and Seth Rogan (Knocked Up) began shooting in Toronto July 12th, but
moves east to the Louisbourg, NS area for 4 days starting today (August 29th) through September 1st which, according to IMDB.com is the last day slated for shooting on the project. Polley also penned the project – a funny & bittersweet drama about a married woman who struggles to choose between the love of her cookbook writing husband and that of a mysterious & handsome neighbour....a definite departure from Away from Her to say the least. No release dates as of yet. SABS
SABS aside...
Michelle Williams & Seth Rogan worked together on Dawson’s Creek back in the day – Williams one of the 4 leads and Rogan played ‘Bob’ in one episode entitled “Rock Bottom”...still it happened and so there you have it.

And a few scenes were also shot inside the Cranberry Cove Inn in town. I think possibly some of the older home scenes could have be shoot there
I can't wait to see this movie!
