OneBlood Performs on the Semi’s of Canada’s Got Talent
Posted: April 16, 2012
The second of our East Coast Contingent brought their their skills to the Canada's Got Talent stage last night and OneBlood did us proud.
And for the record Gregg Ernst, and sons Joshua, John, Peter, and Elijah looked truly dapper!
In what we'd like to call a 'game-changing' move the family group from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia performed the R&B classic by Bill Wither's “Ain't No Sunshine”. When you've been billed by the show and the judges as a 'Gospel' group...well, you've got to admit that song choice was one you wouldn't expect, but they sang it very well – even did a beatbox in there too.
Mixed reviews from judges Measha Brueggergosman and Stephan Moccio – but Martin Short, who was really looking forward to a more traditional Gospel song gave them the 'X'.
Will they join NB's Angry Candy and the other three contestants in the finals – we sure hope so.
We're cheering for you fellas and we'll tune in for the live results tonight. SABS

Very disappointed with the judges comments. They have a lot of talent that Canada didn't get to see and hear.I hear that they sometimes have a call back hope they get to sing from the heart .

I agree - they are really great! It seemed from Mr. Ernst's comments after the performance - they didn't do the song they really wanted to do in the end. I've got my fingers crossed they'll be back. Thanks for your comment Eileen. sb
