HAVEN Getting Set for Season 3

Well - we were hoping (see below) and now it's official....

On Twitter earlier tonight, series writer Nora Zuckerman (@NoraZuckerman) confirmed Adam Copeland (aka WWE's Edge) will be returning to the trouble town of HAVEN for Season 3.

He was a huge help to Audrey and Nathan appearing in 2 episodes last season...it's possible Dwight's return will be for more than one show in this third season of the hit series.

You can feel it....the troubles are back! There's HAVEN pre-production activity around the South Shore and right here in the village of Chester, Nova Scotia – and this fan could not be more excited!

We were thrilled to announce the Syfy/Showcase hit series would be back for a third season (post) and we just received the official word – 'action' will begin Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

The plot line will pick up where the show ended in Season 2... and what a cliff hanger (post).

All 3 main stars will return Emily Rose (Audrey Parker), Lucas Bryant (Nathan Wornos) and Eric Balfour (Duke Crocker) – and you've gotta believe the list of guest stars will be great again this season.

Hopes are high we'll see Adam (The Edge) Copeland back as Dwight Hendrickson aka The Cleaner.

Hard to say whether Jason Priestley will return on camera as the marine biologist/town worshipped Chris Brody – seems unlikely, but it's HAVEN so you never know. We are hopeful he'll return to direct another episode – especially since he'll be in the 'neighbourhood' shooting Call Me Fitz.

MORE SECRETS ARE ABOUT TO SURFACE AS SHOWCASE’S HIT SERIES HAVEN GOES INTO PRODUCTION ON ITS THIRD SEASON BEGINNING APRIL 18 IN HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

New York, NY/Toronto, ON/Los Angeles, CA – April 3, 2012 – Get ready to journey back to the small town where everyone has a secret when the Showcase hit series Haven goes into production on 13 new episodes of season three beginning April 18 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Season three of Haven picks up immediately following the events of the gripping season two finale where Nathan (Lucas Bryant) was warned against pursuing a romantic relationship with Audrey (Audrey Rose); Duke (Eric Balfour) learned his family legacy was to kill Haven citizens with troubles; Audrey went missing, and Nathan and Duke engaged in a seemingly deadly argument.

Haven, based on the novella The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King, follows former FBI agent Audrey Parker, who becomes a cop in the small town of Haven, Maine, and soon discovers the town’s many secrets, which also holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of her lost past.

From leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne), Haven is co-commissioned by Shaw Media in Canada and globally via Universal Networks International (UNI).

The creative team behind Haven includes executive producers John Morayniss (The Firm, Hell on Wheels) from eOne Television and David MacLeod (Legends of the Fall, The Ray Bradbury Theater) of Big Motion Pictures, who are joined by Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Scott Shepherd (Stephen King’s The Dead Zone, Greek) of Piller/Segan/Shepherd and Matt McGuinness (Journeyman, Dark Blue) as well as Sam Ernst & Jim Dunn (Stephen King’s The Dead Zone), who also developed the series.

Haven is produced by Entertainment One and Big Motion Pictures in association with Piller/Segan/Shepherd and airs on Syfy in the U.S., Showcase in Canada and internationally on Universal Networks International’s channels. Entertainment One controls the worldwide distribution rights to the one-hour series and concluded a deal with Germany’s Tele München Group (TMG) for the television rights in Continental Europe.
