Earlier tonight the first of our 'East Coast Contenders' on Canada's Got Talent took the stage in Toronto.
With the live audience and the national broadcast - there was no denying the pressure all of the contestants must have been feeling. Let's face it - they either deliver tonight or go home tomorrow - and Moncton, NB's Angry Candy totally rocked it!
Performing a cover of the Heart classic “Alone” lead singer Izabelle Ouellet's voice was really strong and the band was tight.
The judges were mixed in their reviews of the performance and song choice, but they are all united in their belief Angry Candy is one talented band.
Two acts will advance – one chosen by the judges, and the other picked by the fans. Who will join last week's winners Freshh and Julie LaFontaine?
Well, our fingers are firmly crossed for Izzie and the rest of Angry Candy - Steve DeYoung, Jason Arsenault, Chris Boulay and Kim Dang-Robichaud, but we're proud of you no matter what! You were amazing!!!
We'll post the results as soon as they are available. SABS
