With the welcome of spring this month a lot of us are looking to freshen up our living space and well... spruce up the joint for the coming season.
But faced with very little time to make those changes and even less disposable funds for a full on make over... you might just be thinking the 'same old same old' will have to suffice.

TURQUOISE SHED Tips: Easy Does It!!! In Any and Every Room
Not all of us can afford a top to bottom overhaul of our space, but we still want to make it our own! 'Bite Size' design are design changes that are easy to make and really make an impact. Here are some of our favourite ideas for an ‘Easy Does It’ change to your space. Pick one and see how quickly your space transforms for you!
Painting a room, a wall or an item of furniture is the quickest way to transform a room or piece.
These sturdy kitchen chairs were functional but needed oomph!
We painted them and replaced the worn upholstery with fresh coordinating graphic and floral fabrics for a quick pick me up.
This can be done on any scale!
Just by updating the knobs or pulls on your kitchen cabinets... you'll be easily updating your kitchen!
Or, giving some personality to a functional dresser, side table, or bathroom vanity.
Here we simply added mismatched knobs that tied in the colour scheme of the room.
This allowed us to reuse a treasured family piece for the next generation.

Lighting can make a big statement.
It's an easy way to update every room of the house and brighten any space.
Either by replacing your old ceiling light fixtures with a piece that pops like this chandelier or...
By adding a jolt of colour to a side table - with a great looking lamp...
Swapping out-dated lighting can be an easy and versatile way to express your personal style.

Window treatments are one of our favourite ways to inject personality into any room!
You can have fun designing custom treatments to put the finishing touch on your decor or simply chose one of the many ready-made options available.
You can even personalize the ready-made options like we’ve done here. We commissioned the talented artist Chloe Weale to screen print a fun design on burlap which we had sewn onto plain linen panels for an added touch of texture.
The sky is the limit, hit the fabric stores and see what embellishments call out your name!
We love ball fringe and feel it adds a touch of whimsy and fun to treatments.
Above all, have fun with your space and remember that a small change can make a big impact.
