There are some great events taking place throughout the month of February 2012 – stay tuned for more, but in the meantime hit the road and take in these highlights of Nova Scotia.
Maple Sugar Brunch and Guided Tours at Sugar Moon Farm – Earltown

Groundhog/World Wetlands Day -Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park

Tatting Demonstration in Rose Bank Cottage - Ross Farm Museum, New Ross
Date: February 4-5
Tatting has been described as “threads lovingly shaped around air to create beautiful lace.” Tatting was considered very fashionable for the higher classes during the 18th & 19th centuries. The shuttle and thread were carried in a little knotting bag and a fashionable lady would never be seen without one.
