My Top Ten Favourite Christmas Movies of All Time…
Together in 1 post
Posted: December 6, 2011
It’s that time of year again when holiday traditions kick into high gear and a tradition I look forward to each Christmas is enjoying these these marvelous movies.
I know I’m not alone – matter of fact I can actually see folks finding Sea and be Scene because I mentioned Sarah Polley’s first movie role in my #3 or because I have and cherish my turtle dove as seen in my #7b.
At any rate – last year I did a countdown billed as a "Redux" (with rationale) and now because so many of you (well 4 people….5 if you count my cousin) suggested that I put the complete list in one post I have done so here…and I’ve included the links if you’d like to see why it made my top ten.
What’s that? NO – the list hasn’t changed since last year... so that works out well. If anything I love #6 more than ever…and I’ve already watched #10 twice and #1 three times this season…. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
#10 – Miracle on 34th Street (1994) post
#9 – The Bishop’s Wife (1947) post
#8 - Christmas Vacation (1989) post
#7a & #7b Home Alone (1990) & Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) post
#6 - The Family Stone (2005) post
#5 – Elf (2001) post
#4 – Love Actually (2003) post
#3 – One Magic Christmas (1985) post
#2 - The Family Man (2000) post
#1 – It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) post
Now, I think I'll take a break, grab an eggnog and watch #4 while I wrap presents... Merry Christmas!!!

You forgot "A Christmas Story" and the ultimate guy's Christmas movie "Die Hard"...Yippee Ki-Yay Merry Christmas!

All good, except your missing Meet Me in St. Louis (where have yourself a merry little Christmas came from), and Little Women (1943 or 1949?)
