Sea and be Scene

You may remember Ceilidh for Critters – the charitable event that ran from 2004 – 2010 and raised over $40,000 for both the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter and before that the Animal Rescue Coalition. Even though the event ran its course the need and desire to help animals still continues.

So there will now be series of Songwriters' Circles at The Carleton in Halifax, NS called CONCERTS FOR CRITTERS to benefit registered animal rescue groups and this Saturday, December 3rd will mark the first, benefiting Pierre’s Alley Cat Society.

The show – a songwriters circle – will feature four incredibly talented East Coast artists – Ian Sherwood NS, Kristina Trites NB, Ronok Sarkar NS and Norma MacDonald NS

100% of the proceeds from the CONCERTS FOR CRITTERS series will be donated to registered charities and/or not for profit societies – with the plan to have this be the first of many concerts – the hope is to care for as many animals as possible.
