Where’s your favourite place in PEI to grab a coffee?

I’m a big fan of Casa Mia Café on Queen Street. Great place to do some work on the laptop or just chill out with a cup of coffee.

Where’s your favourite place in PEI to grab a pint?

Depends on the night. Churchill Arms is great on Wednesdays (2-for-1 Curry), Hunter’s on the weekend for live music or the Gahan House Pub any night of the week.

Where’s your favourite place to shop in PEI?

Sporting Intentions in the Fall/Winter, How Bizarre & The Dunes in the Summer. I’d be lying if I didn’t mention Joe Fresh. Who doesn’t love to shop for food & clothing at the same time?!

Where in PEI would we stand to see your favourite view?

I’d have to say the view from Village Pottery in New London.  It overlooks rolling farm hills and on any given day you can see a fox hunting or bald eagle soaring. I’m fortunate to have it as my view from work everyday.

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit PEI:

1. Go to the beach. Cousins Shore & Blooming Point are my favourite.

2. Eat as much seafood as possible. My favourite place to pick up fresh seafood is Carr’s in Stanley Bridge.

3. Go see a show. From musical theatre at Confederation Centre of the Arts to rock bands at a bar, the music scene on PEI is excellent.

What makes PEI such a special place on earth for you?

It’s home. After living abroad for a few years I’ve come to realize just how magical this little island really is. We’ve got some of the nicest beaches, best seafood & friendliest people. PEI is unlike any other place in the world & I’m proud to call it home.
