Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a coffee?

That's easy!  Halifax Seaport Farmer's Market Java Blend Coffee Shop on the 2nd Floor—great chai-great coffee and great view of Georges Island!

Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a pint?

My fridge....I don't get out much 🙂

Where’s your favourite place to shop in Nova Scotia?

Elsie's Shop at 1530 Queen Street in Halifax

Where in Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?

So many places to choose from! But I'd have to say Crystal Crescent Beach standing on the pathway looking east—stunning!

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Nova Scotia:

1. Take time to discover some of the less beaten paths (literally) there are tons of lakes that have trails around them.  I have been constantly amazed at how many beautiful lakes and trails there are—absolutely one of my favourite things to do!

2. Go to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.  I know it’s a no-brainer—but it really is a MUST!

3. Visit the historic sites—there is so much history in this place and much of that history, art and heritage has been well-preserved—from Joggins to Citadel Hill to visiting the 18th century Mi'kmaq petroglyphs in Kejimkujik National Park

What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?

I am an ocean gal—born and raised on the Atlantic—so having that ocean surround where I live means everything to me.  I am home here.
