We caught up to Molly Thomason at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival …literally.
She, like all the other talented artists, was running from stage to stage – performing and sharing her music with the fans in show after show. When we finally did connect - it was a pleasure …and very cool to meet someone so comfortable, down to earth and so completely dedicated to their craft. Cooler still to note that she’s only 16 years old (BTW -her birthday is September 29th 
).
Now touring as often as she can in support of her sophomore project BEAUTY QUEEN – Molly is again nominated for two Music Nova Scotia awards – this year for Female Artist and Folk Recording of the year.
In our brief chat we managed to discuss her music, her heritage and where we can grab a great cup of coffee. Maybe that’s where we’ll meet up next – for our full length sit down interview.
We know there will be lots of great music and wonderful success stories to talk about in the future – Molly Thomason’s got it all ahead of her! SABS
