LOOK WHO'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!
Updated: October 26, 2011
When ABC’s super hit Grey’s Anatomy ended its 7th season there was little hope that Dartmouth, NS born actor James Tupper would be returning as Dr. Andrew (McTreemy) Perkins for season 8. Teddy (Kim Raver) kissed her 'faux' husband Henry (Scott Foley*) which pretty much meant ‘prognosis negative’ for Tupper’s time at Seattle Grace.
Premiering on ABC Wednesday, September 21st – Tupper will be father to the show’s star, Canadian actress Emily Van Camp who rocked it in Brothers & Sisters (so glad she’s back on TV).
The plot line has Van Camp’s character Emily Thorne “returning to the Hamptons to exact revenge on the people who destroyed her family”. Tupper’s role is being billed as a “reoccurring guest star role” since he’ll be seen mostly through flashbacks.
Also happening for Tupper, and due out later this year, the made for TV movie Girl Fight in which James co-stars again with actress and partner Anne Heche.
His brief role in Jim Carey’s Mr.Popper’s Penguins (after a brief time in theatres) can now be seen on DVD, and Tupper’s next turn on the big screen is slated for March 9, 2012 in the Gerard Butler - Jessica Biel film Playing the Field. SABS
*SABS PSA - GREY’S GUYS GONE
We noted above the season finale smooch between Teddy & Henry, but the fact remains actor Scott Foley has been scooped up to star in the hit series True Blood – which more than likely means Dr. Altman will once again be all alone…and now with Christina & Owen's love life in such a bad state…well, let’s just say we’re looking forward to the 2 hour Grey’s premiere on September 22nd.
