OH CANADA Sea and be Scene Style

Posted: July 1, 2011

Not only is this Canada's 144th birthday - but we are pleased to announce that Sea and be Scene has just turned 1.

That's 365 days of 24/7 celebrating the 4 Atlantic Provinces.  Great fun indeed.

Not too long ago we began a regular feature called "The Sea and be SCENE of the Day"...with the goal being to showcase this wonderful part of the world.

July 1st SABS of the Day profileWe take some of the pictures, but for the most part we rely on the kindness of our SABS friends.

In honour of our Nation's celebration - we have compiled an A/V presentation using some of the great shots previously featured with myself doing the "Oh, Canada"

Special thanks to everyone who has sent in their SCENEs over the last while especially to those who's shots we've used in the video (Jamie Robinson,Melinda Boland, Leslie-Anne Campbell, A.G MacRae, Andrew Dale, Gail Antle Benner, Brian Watts, Dominique Dupuis Bourgeois, Jennie Greencorn, Marie Ryan Gerrior and Paddy Barry.

Happy Canada Day to you!!! sb

  1. I am from Mazatlan Mexico and I absolutely love your website. I try to come here every day. Besides, Canada's East Coast is one of my favorite places. Congratulations and I hope I can be there next summer.

  2. Thank you SO much!!! We look forward to your visit. BTW - I loved my time in Mazatlan - shot a video there way back in the day - as a matter of fact...if you look up "About Us" then click on Stephanie you'll see all my music videos - "Nothing to Lose" was shot in your hometown. Thanks again for the sweet note! sb
