In Tribute to PETE KING

Poste: July 13, 2011

It is in celebration and memory of Pete King that we post this video tribute - along with this note from dear friend and band mate Rik Reese

 .

Pete King spurs photo credit Mathieu LeBlanc "It was a track that I wrote in my head while Pete and I were out driving our Harley's.  When we arrived at our destination, I told him about the idea and the track was created for the album. It was one of his favorite tracks from the album and ironically, the footsteps you hear at the beginning of the song...will now always remind us of Pete's spurs.

We lost our bassist, band mate, and brother. The band and I are leaning on every word of support during this extremely difficult time." Rik Reese

  2. Rik, I can't even start to imagine how you must feel. Losing Pete is a tragic event but for you, your left hand, band member, soul brother amongst many more. Pete would want you to continue and play even stronger to acknowledge all he represented to you and everybody else that he touched deep in our souls and heart. Rik - Pete may never be replaced but will surely never be forgotten by any of us that have had the pleasure to cross his path.
Stay strong your fans still need you to go on.

  4. Pete was a great man and a very good friend. May his spurs rest in heaven now and his soul rest in peace. R.I.P. My dear friend Pete we will miss you.

Rik you and I go back a long time in our hometown and I'm so sorry for your loss you and Pete rocked the stages. We will miss Pete but I hope you find the way to go on. Pete will make that Guitar rumble in Heaven and make sure we all hear those Spurs. Pete is gone but will always with you and all of us. We will always see Pete on the left of the stage. the left side of the stage that will always be his place. We will miss you Pete but never forget you - you are a great man.
