It was during this year’s Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival that we found ourselves traveling along Highway 1 (or the Evangeline Trail as folks call it) with no set destination in mind – out with only the hope of taking it all in.  No surprise then that we happened upon the little town of Berwick – the place deemed Nova Scotia’s Apple Capital.

Sandras Country Treasures 1While we’re all about the apple business – we welcome any opportunity to shop and did just that at a sweet store called Sandra’s Country Treasures …our kind of spot for sure.

Sandra Dunham,a lifetime Berwick resident, is the proprietor and her store offers something to look at, love and buy everywhere you turn.             With over 40 (forty) vendors - artists, artisans, crafters, collectors, concoction creators - the merchandise mix has something to make every home a little more lovely.

Sandras Country Treasures 2From one of a kind woodworks to unique antiques, linens, decorative accessories, jewelry and more – you’re sure to find something you’ll love in this store.

  2. I'm not'd be best to call. There's one lady who brings in estate sale antiques and other cool things so you never know. Next time I'm out around I'll pop in and check. sb

  3. I have been shopping at Sandra's Country Treasures for years. It is my "favorite" place to go when we visit Berwick. I love the variety of country/primitive items that are available...I always manage to come home with something special. Thanks, Sandra, for being there and look forward to seeing you the next time we are in the Valley!

The variety, craftsmanship and prices are all worth the trip. Miss ya Sandra..see ya next trip home.

  5. Hi there. I am I am looking for glass reamers/ juicers - the old-fashioned kind that had a cone sticking up in the center that you would twist the lemons, oranges or grapefruits against to extract juice. Do you happen to have any? I'm looking forward to hearing from you about this item.~~ Irma Oickle
